Great wedding ideas: Guest book

Having a guest book at the wedding is such a great idea because even though your sitting on the stage enjoying your special day with your nearest and dearest, not everyone gets a chance to come and say hello.

After months of preparation its not long till the whole event is over and then all your left with is a memory of the most important day. Like they say 'time flies'... believe me when i say it will just pass like a blink of the eye.

I'm sure you want to memorise this day, so having a guest book for all your guests to write a message is ideal. Why not assign someone to take your guest book from table to table so everyone can sign it as some people are better at expressing their feelings on paper.

So...when the days over and everyone has gone home you can sit and read the kind words and messages from your loved ones but beware as you might need a box of tissues.

Wedding season.

We are fast approaching that time of year again.. wedding season. I'm sure most of you are preparing for a good knees up this summer for a close wedding either a family, a good friend or even your own. Organising a wedding can be quite daunting as these days everything has to be to perfection. Long gone are the days when putting up a gazebo in the back garden for a mendhi function or hiring the local school dinner hall was acceptable.

In the good old days the bride and groom did not even have any input into the organisation, i even recall being told that someone from Pakistan or India would send the bride & groom outfits from abroad. It's funny because they didn't even pick their life time partner and all they had to do was turn up to 'their' special day...what an easy life.

Well welcome to the designer wedding era where everything is planned to perfection by the couple,  with bride and groom matching outfits, expensive venues and many more. As I mentioned in my main blog i'll be putting together lots of information to help you turn your dreams into reality, this includes interviews, reviews and great products.

Next: I'll be looking at a list of essentials, an interview with some make-up artists and some great giveaways.
